Spin Energy sells 87 MW pipeline of PV projects in Sicily

Project is the first of many as the company aims to deliver 1.3 GW

Milan, Italy: Spin Energy entered into an agreement with a global renewable player focused on the PV sector to sell a pipeline of 87 MW of PV projects currently under development in Sicily.

The projects, once in operation, will produce ca. 150,000 MWh of energy per year allowing to provide clean renewable energy to ca. 50,000 households.

Spin Energy is a new development platform recently founded by entrepreneurs Neal Gandhi and Igor Ostrolucanin, focused on an innovative tech-based approach for renewable development and energy transition. With a fully funded plan to reach a pipeline of 1.3GW in 2023, Spin Energy is taking a data-led scalable approach renewables development. Mario Farina was project lead on behalf of Spin Energy, supported by Ivana Nissen and the Spin Energy team. SURE – Sustainable Revolution was the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction and will be continuing to support Spin Energy in the execution of their global strategy as well as in their international development.
